Family life and relationship difficulties

I have particular experience in supporting people with family life and relationship difficulties.

These may relate to early or unresolved childhood experiences that continue to have an impact in adult life. Difficulties may also involve experiences such as separation or divorce, bereavement, or wider changes in family life, including pregnancy, transitioning into parenthood, and raising children.

Family relationships can bring both connection and strain, and it can sometimes be difficult to make sense of repeated patterns, emotional responses, or long-standing tensions.

Psychodynamic therapy offers a reflective space to think about these experiences in depth. Together, we can explore how past and present relationships may interact, and what new understanding or possibilities for change might emerge over time.
