About me
I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor based in Blockley, near Moreton-in-Marsh (GL56), on the border of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, and Oxfordshire. I offer in-person counselling in the North Cotswolds and online sessions via Zoom.
I work psychodynamically, with attention to patterns in relationships and emotional experience, and how current difficulties may be shaped by earlier relational experiences.
This is a reflective way of working, where meaning is not rushed, but allowed to emerge over time through careful attention and thinking together. Sessions involve exploring current experiences and what may feel repeated or difficult to understand, with space for new understanding to develop gradually. I also work with family life and relationship difficulties.
I have experience working with neurodivergent clients, including autistic and ADHD experiences, and am mindful of how neurodivergence can shape emotional experience, relationships, and self-understanding within a relational context.
Sessions are 50 minutes and take place in a private setting in Blockley or online via Zoom. The work is typically open-ended, allowing time for reflection and continuity.
I am a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), and I work within their ethical frameworks, including confidentiality and professional standards.
Enquiries are welcome, and I usually respond within one working day.
